We used Buen Apetito for my daughters wedding. From the initial enquiry 12 months before to the actual wedding day contact with Andy and Debbie was first class.

They visited the venue when passing (bearing in mind this was 100 odd miles from where they live) to check the facilities and outside areas.

We had an evening where they came and cooked delicious paella, the food was fab and their company great. Andy and Debbie came the day before to set up, it was just like they were part of our party who were helping us decorate the venue, they are exceptionally easy to get along with and so helpful.

On the day of the wedding they sorted out the DJ, singer and even turned on many many tea lights and strings of lights before we arrived for the wedding breakfast. Their staff are as superb as them, they were friendly, efficient and nothing was too much trouble making the day effortless, leaving us to enjoy and party! The food was FABULOUS, from the canapés to 3 different paella’s and delicious burgers in the evening.

The comments from family and friends reinforced we had made a perfect choice in Buen Apetito. We couldn’t fault any of it. We couldn’t have wished for better caterers and wouldn’t hesitate in recommending them…10/10 and more from us all. Andy and Debbie…Thank You…

Before the wedding Andy was so helpful, always answering questions quickly and being so helpful with everything. A DIY wedding is difficult and he came to the venue to meet us at the venue to help work out everything that needed to be done for the day, helping us with things we hadn’t even thought about!

Unfortunately the weekend of our wedding the “beast from the east” had arrived and the whole country was under snow and having significant problems and Andy and his team were in one of the the worst hit places. I cannot thank him enough for how helpful and calming he was on the very stressful day before the wedding. Even though I am sure he travelling in dangerous conditions with only a small team we were so grateful that they were able to make it on the day. The food was amazing, paella and evening BBQ and we had so many compliments from everyone.

With all the problems we have no idea how he managed to pull it off but we could not be more grateful! I know we were so lucky to have such reliable and determined caterers for our day especially as we came soo close to cancelling everything. Cannot recommend Buen Apetito enough!!

Impossible to find fault, Andy and Debbie were supremely professional and efficient on Saturday evening. The Paellas and canapés were excellent. The set up and clear up was smooth from start to finish and everyone said how great the food was. Would definitely recommend and use again. First class catering for a very reasonable price.

Andy, Debbie and the whole team were amazing throughout the planning, preparation and on our wedding day.

Not only did they serve INCREDIBLE paella, canapes and evening food, but nothing was too much trouble from serving drinks to changing the room around for the evening.

Start to finish Buen Apetito were great – they really made the day even more special.

Everyone loved the food – we can’t recommend them highly enough!

Book Buen Apetito!

Of all the professional services we booked, or researched, for our wedding, Andy and Debbie at Buen Apetito were by far the easiest, most professional, flexible and accommodating.

When they say nothing is too much trouble, it really isn’t but unlike others, it doesn’t all come at additional cost. We had a budget, Buen Appetito respected that and worked within it. They came out and cooked for us in advance of the booking. Debbie prepared sample canapes and Andy cooked paella for seven of us. This was not the easiest seven either. A father-in-law who was a little reticent and not a lover of “foreign” food, a 15 year old whose favourite dish is paella, a 7 year old who at the time only really liked sausages, a fiancee who can be a little fussy and a fiance that likes to think he can point out where master chefs go wrong were all amongst the group. Seven empty plates told its own story!

We chose our favourite canapes (not an easy choice because so many tasted, and looked fantastic) and opted for a paella marisco (seafood) and a paella valenciana (chicken and chorizo) along with a vegetarian paella and our favourite desserts, again a difficult choice due to all the delicious options.

We barely knew that Andy and Debbie were around as they set up their prep area on Friday since they just got on with their own thing amongst the chaos surrounding them. The are totally self sufficient and put absolutely no demands on us for anything.

On the day they were all set up and ready to cook on the dance floor in front of our guests. The three huge paella pans on display and smartly presented staff. Despite our best efforts at keeping to a time schedule the photographs over ran. Andy happily delayed cooking by 30 minutes to ensure that the food was cooked to perfection for when we sat down.

Service was swift and efficient, (nothing worse than being the last table to be served having waited an age) and there was enough for everyone to go back for seconds, even thirds in some cases and it was all delicious. There was nothing left over bar one small portion of vegetarian paella and all our guests commented on how fantastic everything was. The evening buffet was equally sumptuous although we perhaps didn’t need quite as much as we ordered, due to the paella having been such a hit.

All in all, Buen Apetito were the consummate professionals but also the loveliest, most helpful people to deal with.

We would have no hesitation in recommending Andy and Debbie to anyone. Buen Apetito!!
